Unleashed Geekery: A Lesbian Girls Games Night Recap

So last weekend, I decided to host a lesbian girls games night because why not? So much time is spent worrying about social expectations and what others might think of us but screw them! It was going to be all about me and my favorite things – video games with a lesbian girl twist, pizza, and good company. The theme for the night revolved around games that had strong female protagonists who also happened to be queer-identifying. I'm talking about kickass heroines taking charge, saving the world (or at least their own corner of it), and maybe even finding love along the way. The guest list included some of my closest friends from college, all fellow nerds who wouldn't judge me for hosting such a geeky get-together. First up on our gaming menu was "Obey Me," a visual novel where you play as a young woman who inherits an old mansion full of handsome demon brothers. As the new mistress, you can romance one or multiple demons based on your choices in the storyline. Yes, this game features plenty of steamy lesbian scenes between women and succubi, so buckle up, ladies! Next, we moved onto "Love, Lust, and Texts," another choose-your-own-adventure game, but this time you navigate through the complexities of dating apps and flirty messages with other women. The graphics are simple yet cute, adding to the overall charm of the game. When everyone started getting tired of sitting still too long, we switched gears and moved onto a cooperative board game called "Lost Patrol." In this thrilling military adventure set during World War II, players must work together as a group of tough-as-nails female soldiers tasked with completing dangerous missions behind enemy lines. With dice rolls determining combat outcomes, luck played a significant factor in whether or not our squad survived each mission. Needless to say, there were some intense moments filled with curses and high fives. After a few rounds of Lost Patrol, we slowed down the pace again with "Campbell Moss," a point-and-click mystery game inspired by Twin Peaks. This eerie tale involves solving strange disappearances and uncovering dark secrets hidden within the picturesque town of Campbell Moss. Players take control of detective Veronica Hayes, a bold, sharp-witted investigator who, guess what? Could potentially fall for another sexy lady named Mayor Alexis Young. Bonus points for including an option to pursue a romantic relationship between two powerful and intriguing characters! Finally, after hours upon endless hours of gaming, food coma kicks in. Thankfully, I ordered pizzas from Luna's Pizzeria known for their delicious vegan and gluten-free options, so everyone could indulge guiltlessly. We feasted while bonding over shared nerd experiences, laughing till our stomachs hurt, and reminiscing about simpler times spent playing video games at sleepovers back in high school. In conclusion, planning a dedicated lesbian girls games night turned out to be a liberating experience. It reinforced how essential it is to embrace our uniqueness without apologies. If anything, it encourages more people like us to come out of hiding and create spaces where they can fully express themselves freely and genuinely enjoy life’s little pleasures, be it gaming or sharing a slice of pizza with your besties.

Wow, that sounds like an epic evening! I need to organize something similar in my city - maybe call it 'Femme Geek Fest'? I can already imagine a table full of girls giggling over card games, sipping on iced teas, and occasionally exclaiming victorious cheers when winning an online battle. Thanks for sharing your experience; it gave me ideas!
